Andy Warhol Effect PhotoShop Assignment

The Andy Warhol Effect assignment was my first introduction to using PhotoShop. To achieve the “Warhol” look, I used tools such as layering, the magic wand, the brightness and contrast values, and the adjustment color slider.

First, the magic wand was used to isolate my classmate in the headshot, cutting out the wall in the background. The brightness and contrast values were used to make the picture more dramatic, and the adjustment color sliders to adjust the amount of colors. Lastly, I layered the background color behind the headshot. While learning these tools did take time, I was able to use my knowledge and experience from this project and apply it to the Band Literalisms Project.
